BRANDING – THE CHALLENGE
HELPING A PAN-ASIAN RESTAURANT BATTLE IDENTITY CRISIS
The origin story of this name starts in Africa, particularly from an African river goddess. But it was quite strange for a Pan-Asian restaurant to find inspiration in Africa, right?
We thought so, too. And we proceeded to a plan for course-correction. It lead us to a word that served as a the perfect expression for the restaurant.
Shibuii – Japanese for an aesthetic sense of simple, subtle and unobtrusive beauty. Pairing it with elements from 12 countries of the Orient, we had prepared a brand that was fine in taste and great for the ‘gram.
